The museum at Fort Morgan is open daily from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (but may be closed from noon - 1:00 pm in the off-season, call (251)540-7127 for current hours).
Inside you will find a rare Fresnel Lens from the Middle Bay Lighthouse on loan from the Coast Guard, historic displays and items recovered from the site, 
with a convenient gift shop complete with souvenirs, books, and toys.

at the Fort Morgan State Historic Park:
Bird banding from before dawn, ending each day between 3:00 and 5:00 PM, depending on the flow of migrant birds. There is a fee for entry into the State Park, but there is no additional charge to observe the banding process. For a nominal fee you may 'adopt' a bird and be photographed with it before you release it to continue its flight south.
